Case Claims Flat Rock Enduro Crown

FLAT ROCK, Mich. – Ed Case captured the Vault Antiques and Treasures Enduro title Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway as the track closed out its racing schedule for the season.

The title is Case’s first in his career. Ethan Stadniczuk took the 250-lap contest, while David Liaeff won the ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock feature.

Stadniczuk took the lead from early leader Jacob Thomas and set a torrid pace as the race was completed in 64 minutes of non-stop action. The win was his second Enduro victory of the season for the Temperance, Mich., resident. Kyle Metdepenningen was second, Thomas was third, Case fourth and Nathan Sprotberry fifth.

Liaeff wrapped up his season with a win in the 25-lap ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock feature. Liaeff set fast time, finished second in his pursuit race and took the lead from race leader Collin Barron on his way to the win. Greg Studt was also in the mix as that trio battled up front. Barron, in his first run of the season, took second, Studt third, Lonnie York fourth and Trevor Farmer fifth.

Pursuit races took the place of the heats, with Patton and Litogot taking the wins. Rookie Litogot’s checkered flag was his first.
