INSIDER: Jacobs Gets Another One At Eldora

All it took was a little home cooking for Kenny Jacobs to get back in victory lane.

Jacobs thrilled the near-capacity crowd June 11, 1994 with his second straight World of Outlaws victory at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway.

When asked if he thought he should be considered the favorite in Eldora’s big-money races — the King’s Royal ($50,000-to-win) and the Historic Big One ($100,000-to-win), Jacobs said, “There are too many good cars (racing with the World of Outlaws) for me to be considered the favorite. As competitive as this season has been, I don’t think you can make anybody the favorite.”
