13 Events For AMA Vintage Flat Track Championship

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Fans will have 13 opportunities to watch the flat track machines of decades past roar back to life this year, as the AMA Vintage Flat Track National Championship Series visits nine venues in six states.

The 2020 Vintage Flat Track schedule includes three rounds during Daytona Bike Week and a round at 2020 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.

Events include a mix of half mile tracks, short tracks and a TT course that will challenge the nation’s top vintage flat track competitors.

“This year’s schedule features tracks that have delivered great vintage flat track racing year-in and year-out,” AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant said. “It’s always great to see the flat track racing machines, that many of us saw in action growing up, back on the track for these events. We’re expecting another year of great, bar-banging competition.”

The series recognizes national champions in period-correct classes that reflect the storied history of AMA flat track competition.

Class champions are recognized as AMA National Champions and are awarded AMA No. 1 plates.
