Another Mountain Creek Box Stock Victory For Busch

CATAWBA, N.C. — Brexton Busch went unchallenged with the exception of a few yellow flags in the Beginner Box Stock feature at Mountain Creek Speedway.

Busch led wire-to-wire for his second consecutive win and third overall. Nolan Fohr had a strong run from fifth to second, Mason Treader also moved up three spots from sixth to third, Carson McKee and Dylan Boreman were fourth and fifth.

The Autumn Action Weekend presented by K&M Collision continued as Slate Harrell weathered a few late race cautions to take the checkered flag and his second consecutive win in the Cadet division.

Reece Beamer chased him the entire race but had to settle for second. Brylon Earnhardt, Brantley Lamb and Caden Outz completed the top five.

Karter Beattie, already scoring two of the three Box Stock races run this week, dominated on Sunday to win his third. Spencer Bradshaw started on the pole, but had to settle for second. The rest fo the top five were comprised of Kolson Nelson, Payton Johnson and Zoey Smith.

The entire field was inverted for the Yamaha 450 feature event which proved to make an interesting race. At the drop of the green Michael Hubert, starting ninth went high, when everyone else traffic jammed down low fighting for position. Hubert moved to second by lap one and ran down early race leader Richard Miller.

Miller dropped out with mechanical trouble handing second to Andrew Mattesen. Father, Lou came from ninth to finish third while Sam Miller and point leader Dylan Beard were fourth and fifth.

Matt Thompson led every lap running the top line of the speedway in the 270/600R Micro feature. Thompson dominated while Alanna Bloniasz, Hannah Inman and Adam Bubeck rounded out the top four.Â
