FONDA, N.Y. — Stewart Friesen picked up his fifth victory of the season Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.
Friesen took the lead from Bobby Hackel IV on lap 20 and led the remainder of the 30-lap modified main event. It was Friesen’s 84th career victory at Fonda.
Rocky Warner finished second, with Hackel, Bobby Varin and David Schilling rounding out the top five.
Clayton Dumond won the 25-lap 602 sportsman feature. It was his first victory in the division at Fonda.
Ivan Joslin topped the pro stock main event and Wesley Sutliff grabbed the limited sportsman victory.
Jordan Hutton bested the CRSA sprint car feature.
