LASALLE, Ill. — Saturday’s opener of the eighth annual Thaw Brawl presented by Hoker Trucking at LaSalle Speedway has been postponed.
Sunday’s program is still on as scheduled.
Due to the heavy rains overnight and a forecast working against track crews, LaSalle Speedway and American Ethanol Touring officials have determined that the race surface and speedway grounds are not in a suitable condition to hold an event today. Crews will be working throughout the day in preparation for the events scheduled tomorrow.
Tickets for Saturday’s Thaw Brawl may be used towards the purchase of tickets for Sunday’s Thaw Brawl program. Fans, who cannot attend Sunday’s race may use their Thaw Brawl tickets towards the purchase of any other LaSalle Speedway event in 2019.
The AELMT & AEmods race that was scheduled for Saturday has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 20 at LaSalle Speedway.
Pit gates open Sunday at 11 a.m. with hot laps at 1 p.m. and racing set for 3 p.m. (Central Time).
