DeYoung Earns Mystery Payday At Shadyhill

MEDARYVILLE, Ind. – Brad DeYoung put together a dominant performance to win the Mystery 100 modified race on Saturday night at Shadyhill Speedway, earning $8,000 for his efforts.

The Mystery 100 was the final race in the Shadyhill season. The winner’s take is kept
secret until the winner arrives in victory lane. The race is run in two 50 lap segments, with a 15 minute on-track pit stop for adjustments, tire changes and refueling.

DeYoung looked strong in the first segment, with Shadyhill modified track champion
Jamie Lomax and multi-time track champ Nick Allen keeping DeYoung in their sights.

DeYoung was just as strong in the second half as he was in the first. Various yellow flags would bunch the field for restarts, but DeYoung would quickly take command.

Ten cars from a field of 17 finished the 100-lap event.

Jason Fuller won the Bomber Bonus feature, taking home $500, while Lee Hobbs took home $1,100 for his win in the Lucky 7 Stock Car feature.
