DEGRAFF, Ohio — Jason Atkinson claimed the season opener for the Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks a chilly Sunday afternoon at Shady Bowl Speedway.
Atkinson topped the 74-lap event, holding off the late-race challenge of local favorite Josh Smith.
Austin Maynard finished third, with Dalton Connor and J.P Crabtree rounding out the top five.
Chris Jennings dominated the 30-lap event for the VORES Compact Series.
Ryan Fleming won the late model sportsman feature and Jerry Stapleton won the modified main event.
