EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. – Max Blair took the lead on lap eight and went on to win Friday’s 30-lap United Late Model Series event at McKean County Raceway.
Blair moved around Wyatt Scott in traffic to score the $3,000 winner prize, which came on night two of the Nittany Minimart Fall Classic.
Wyatt Scott and Mike Lupher joined Blair on the podium. Brett Schadel, Ryan Montgomery, Damian Bidwell, Dave Dubois, Denny Fenton, Mike Smith and Deshaun Gingerich completed the top 10.
Blair then backed up his super late model win with a Rush Crate Late Model triumph when he survived two late-race restarts.
Jason Grenco and John Waters finished second and third, respectively.
Glenn Whritenour won the accompanying street stock main event.
