FONDA, N.Y. — The No. 4 was a key player on Saturday night at Fonda Speedway.
Stewart Friesen drove the No. 44 modified to victory, leading all 44 laps of the Thunder on the Thruway Series event to earn a $4,444 check.
Friesen earned his ninth Fonda victory of the season and 77th of his career at the track, beating Matt Sheppard to the checkered flag.
Ronnie Johnson, Josh Hohenforst and Jessica Friesen rounded out the top five.
Cody Clark won the crate 602 sportsman main event. It was his fourth victory of the season at Fonda.
Nick Stone picked up his fifth win of the season in the pro stock class and Kerrie Hollenback won the four-cylinder main event. Jeremy Tyrrell topped the limited sportsman race.
