CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Martins Motorsports has announced that SkyView Partners will sponsor the team during the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on May 19.
“This is such a cool opportunity to work with SkyView Partners,” said team owner and driver Tommy Joe Martins. “They’re just as excited as everyone at our team that we’re going racing again, and we’re thrilled to have them be a part of NASCAR’s return at Darlington. I know all of us want to give them a great first run, and I hope the relationship just continues to grow from here.”
Scott Wetzel, the CEO of SkyView, is looking forward to the new partnership with Martins Motorsports.
“SkyView is excited to support the return of NASCAR and Tommy Joe Martins,” Wentzel said. “The entire team at Martins Motorsports has been fantastic to work with, and we look forward to partnering with them to be part of one of America’s beloved sports. In light of recent events, NASCAR embodies the American spirit to evolve, adapt, and get back to business safely. SkyView had not been a sponsor for NASCAR in the past, but after their swift response, we look forward to sponsoring their efforts to reopen America.”
The NASCAR Xfinity Series event on May 19 will be the first for the series since the COVID-19 pandemic began in mid-March. No fans will be in the stands for the event.
