MOORESVILLE, N.C. – When the CARS Late Model Stock Tour returns to Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, N.C., on Oct. 9, competitors will be battling for additional cash thanks to a purse boost.
Puryear Trucking has signed on as the title sponsor of the 125-lap event, bringing with it additional payouts throughout the field. The race will pay $10,000-to-win, with the runner-up earning $5,200 and third-place taking home $3,300. The total purse for the event will be more than $42,000.
In addition, Puryear Trucking is offering free admission to the first 50 people who present a valid CDL license and complete a Puryear Trucking information form.
The North Carolina based trucking company will also continue their generosity to the fans in attendance with multiple fan appreciation giveaways throughout the evening. Prizes will include YETI coolers, cash prizes, and event tickets to future Wake County and CARS Tour events.
The Oct. 9 event is the first CARS Tour race at Wake County Speedway since the tour’s inaugural season in 2018. The race will be broadcast live by SPEED SPORT TV affiliate Pit Row TV.
