Jurkovic Collects $20,000 Battle At Berlin Trophy

MARNE, Mich. – Boris Jurkovic survived a torrid battle with Travis Braden to win Saturday’s ARCA/CRA Super Series Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway.

A restart with five-laps left saw Jurkovic battling Braden for the race lead. The pair battled tooth and nail, with Braden getting the rough end of things when he crashed into the turn one wall with three laps left.

Jurkovic emerged from the clash unscathed and eventually beat Kyle Crump after a three-lap dash to the checkered flag to earn $20,000 in the super late model event.

Brian Campbell finished third, followed by Johnny VanDoorn and Michael Simko.

Kyle Jones finished sixth and was credited with his first JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour victory for being the highest finishing pro late model competitor in the field.
