HANFORD, Calif. — Austin Liggett ended Damion Gardner’s four-race winning streak to start the AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series season Friday night at Keller Auto Speedway.
Liggett started tenth and passed Gardner for the lead on lap 25. Liggett paced the final six circuits for his first victory of the season.
Gardner came home second, followed by Matt Mitchell, Brody Fuson and Charles Davis Jr.
Cody Williams was the fast qualifier for the 28-car field with a lap of 15.641 seconds on the three-eighths-mile track.
