Williams Grove Cancels Race Due To Weather

MECHANICSBURG, Penn. — Due to the rain that has fallen already and the expectation for periodic showers throughout the afternoon and evening, Williams Grove Speedway has canceled the Friday, July 29, racing program.

The timely decision was made in an effort to save fans and teams undue travel expenses.

Focus now shifts to the August 5 racing program, which will feature the Hoosier Diamond Series Billy Kimmel Memorial for 410 sprints and the Match Race for 358 sprints.

The Kimmel Memorial will pay $6,000-to-win while the lucrative 358 Match Race, offering a total purse worth more than $20,000, will pay over $2,000 to the winner.
