Sweet Still On Top In Sprint Car Rankings

World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series point leader Brad Sweet remains at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings this week, as 29 drivers have now reached the 20-start plateau to be eligible for the national rankings.

Sweet, who has won a single feature this season, has a national-best average finish of 5.708 in 24 starts.

Danny Dietrich, who won a pair of races in his native Pennsylvania over the weekend, including the $19,000-to-win Steve Smith Tribute Race at Lincoln Speedway, is ranked second nationally. Dietrich has an average finish of 6.438 in 32 races.

Anthony Macri, Brent Marks and Carson Macedo round out the top five in the national rankings.

Macri, who won his 11th feature of the season Sunday at Path Valley Speedway, leads the Eastern region by 50 points over Dietrich. Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the Western region standings.

Jason Keith has moved to the top of the Mid-America region, while Cole Macedo retained the lead in the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl heads the Great Plains points.

With three victories in three Western PA Speedweek events, A.J. Flick moved to within four points of leader Sye Lynch in the PA-Ohio region.

Seventy-five drivers have combined to win 145 features run this season. Five hundred and 98 different drivers have run a winged 410 sprint car feature this season.
