TULARE, Calif. – Paul McMahan has secured a ride to compete in the 26th annual Trophy Cup race at California’s Thunderbowl Raceway next month.
Alan Bradway and Steve Tuccilli have named McMahan as the driver of their No. X1 winged 360 sprint car.
The veteran driver, who currently sits fourth in the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions standings, will fill the seat of one of the 110 entries for the $200,000, three day event at Thunderbowl Raceway on Oct. 17-19.
The event champion receives $26,000 and all cars that make the A main on the final night are guaranteed $5,000 total for the three nights of raing.

The Trophy Cup supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with this year’s contribution pushing the total given to $2Â million.
