Macedo Leaps To Top Of National Sprint Rankings

With 14 drivers now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings for 410 winged sprint cars, Carson Macedo leads the rankings for winged 410 sprint car racing.

Administered by Gary Spaid, a new set of National Sprint Car Rankings is released each week.

Macedo is on top this week with an average finish of 4.90 in 20 starts this season. The World of Outlaws regular leads four-time WoO champion Brad Sweet, who has a 5.500 average finish in 20 starts.

David Gravel, Logan Schuchart and Danny Dietrich round out the top five.

Four hundred and nine drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Danny Dietrich continues to lead the Eastern region standings.

Macedo leads the Mid-America region over Brad Sweet, with Cap Henry on top in the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl has snagged the lead in the Great Plains region and Corey Day is the best in the Western region.

Brandon Spithaler leads the PA-Ohio region on the strength of two victories in three races.

Forty-eight drivers have combined to win the 72 features run so far this season. Sweet leads the country with four victories.
