MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Whit Gastineau won the Capital Oil Racing Series main event from the pole Friday at Thunderbird Speedway.
Gastineau topped his heat race from the third position and went on to prevail in the 20-lap feature over Sheldon Barksdale and Danny Wood.
Jordan Knight and series points leader Joe Bob Lee rounded out the top five.
