Surprise: Corey Day Goes From 11 To 60 High Limit Races

Corey Day will be competing on a national level next year behind the wheel of the Jason Meyers Racing No. 14 in High Limit Racing.

After announcing a new partnership between Jason Meyers Racing, Clauson Marshall Racing and Driven to Save Lives on Thursday morning that would see Day run the 11-race Midweek Money Series slate, a busy afternoon and evening turned into the 18-year-old California native and JMR team going full time.

The duo captured 11 wins, including nine NARC main event wins, the Gold Cup Race of Champions against the World of Outlaws and the 29th annual Trophy Cup at the Tulare Thunderbowl in California.

Day’s nine main event wins and consistency throughout the season propelled the team to their first NARC championship.

“Corey is developing into one the finest race car drivers in the world right in front of our eyes, and I could not be more proud of him,” said Jason Meyers, team owner of Jason Meyers Racing. “The effort that Corey has put into growing mentally and physically in 2023 in combination with the teamwork demonstrated between Corey, Shane Bowers, and the rest of the team has delivered remarkable results.

“I am excited to elevate our team in 2024 to the national level.”

Sander Engineering and Four C’s Construction will return as the primary sponsors on the No. 14.  In addition, Driven2SaveLives and Clauson Marshall Racing will join the JMR team in a primary role for 25 races during their campaign, with a special paint scheme and carrying the BC logo.

“I am thankful to have this opportunity to race with Jason and Preston, who are like my uncles and have supported me throughout my racing career along with my parents,” said Day. “Jason has assembled a great team, and I am fortunate to have this opportunity to chase my dream surrounded by people that support me and want me to be successful.” Â
