Bridges Defeats Gray In Tennessee

SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. — Veteran driver Johnny Bridges drove the Wilson Brothers No. 21 winged sprint car sprint car to victory in Friday night’s USCS feature at Thunderhill Raceway Park.

It was the first night of the two-night Thunder on the High Banks event and Bridges outbattled National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Terry Gray to win the 30-lap event.

Bridges and Gray swapped the lead lap after lap over the 30 laps in one of the most thrilling contests of the 2022 season.

Brad Bowden finished behind the duo in third place after winning out in the battle for the final podium spot over Dale Howard.

Young gun Hayden Martin rounded out the top five.
