Flud Back With Hayward Motorsports For Chili Bowl

TULSA, Okla. – Hayward Motorsports officials have confirmed that veteran Frank Flud will return to the team for the upcoming Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals on Jan. 10-15.

Flud, a winner in the Tulsa Shootout on the same track the Chili Bowl will be held on, will have sponsorship from Tulsa Powersports and Mahindra Tractors.

“Thankful for another opportunity to run the Chili Bowl with Brodie and Sarah (Hayward) in such great equipment,” Flud said. “After we had great speed in our first year that ended with some bad luck, I can’t wait to see what we can do this year.”

Flud competed with Hayward Motorsports at the Chili Bowl last year. Flud finished last in his C feature after being involved in a crash.

“Happy to have Frank back with the team for the second year in a row,” said team owner Brodie Hayward. “We clicked immediately and I believe with the combination of Frank and our equipment, we can be contenders to win the Chili Bowl.”

Flud is the second driver to be announced by Hayward Motorsports for the Chili Bowl. He joins Parker Price-Miller, who will pilot the Tony Elliott Foundation car during the 36th Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.
