Cale Yarborough
The first driver to win three-straight Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championships, Cale Yarborough made four Indianapolis 500 starts. His first came in 1966, when he qualified 24th but failed to complete a lap. He was credited with 28th. He returned again in ’67, ’71 and ’73, earning a best finish of 10th in his final attempt.
