POWRi will host the iNationals at the virtual Fairbury American Legion Speedway in December.

POWRi Gets Back Into eSports With FALS iNationals

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Back by popular demand and with added incentives, POWRi and Live Sim Racing TV have partnered for the inaugural POWRi Midget iNationals, set for Dec. 11-12.

The event will feature the virtual confines of Fairbury (Ill.) American Legion Speedway.

A purse of $6,000 will be on the line for competitors, with the winner gaining a $1,000 payday. For only a $50 entry fee, the top-20 feature finishers will be in the payout and the top-three non-transferring finishers will also earn their entry fee back.

Beast Racing will also offer a $50 quick-time award to the driver with the fastest lap during qualifying.

The quarter-mile simulated format will follow similar POWRi iRacing events held during the COVID-19 shutdown, featuring a two-lap qualifying session, six-lap heat races, an “alphabet soup” of semi-features, and ultimately the POWRi Midget iNationals feature.

Pre-entries are available beginning Friday, Oct. 30, with an entry limit of 120 competitors. Spots will be reserved for POWRi members in a limited timeframe.

During registration, competitors are encouraged to message the POWRi Midget iNationals Facebook page with any pertinent information, including potential head-shot photographs of the driver and any car graphics to be featured during the broadcast Dec. 11-12.
