DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Persistent rain forced NASCAR officials to postpone Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Wawa 250 at Daytona Int’l Speedway.
The race will resume Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. E.T. and will be broadcast live on NBCSN. Nineteen laps were completed before Mother Nature intervened shortly after a planned competition caution.
A.J. Allmendinger was scored the leader at the time of the stoppage ahead of Christopher Bell, Myatt Snider, Austin Cindric and Brett Moffitt.
