Persistent Rain Postpones Daytona 500 To Monday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —  Persistent rain has force NASCAR officials to postpone Sunday’s 66th Daytona 500. It has been rescheduled to Monday February 19 at 4 p.m. ET. 

Due to inclement weather, NASCAR announced Sunday morning that Sunday’s Daytona 500 has been postponed until Monday at 4 p.m. ET. 

The Great American Race now joins the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ United Rentals 300 (11:00 a.m. ET) on Monday, creating the first-ever Monday doubleheader at Daytona.
