Briscoe Set For Busy Dirt-Track Campaign

CONCORD, N.C. — Chase Briscoe will remain true to his dirt-track racing roots this summer.

The NASCAR Cup Series driver announced on Twitter that he will embark on the Chase’n Dirt Tour presented by Mahindra USA that will see him compete in more than 25 dirt-track events in numerous types of race cars.

Briscoe, who raced sprint cars prior to transitioning to NASCAR, is scheduled to kick off his campaign this weekend at the Talladega (Ala.) Short Track, where he will race a 360 winged sprint car with the United Sprint Car Series.

The event will be broadcast live by SPEED SPORT affiliate, Talladegashorttrack.tv.

Briscoe also plans to compete in dirt late models that will be fielded by Kent Robinson and in midgets and non-winged sprint cars. All cars will carry the No. 14 that adorns his Stewart Haas Racing NASCAR Cup Series Ford.

Mahindra Tractors and Ford Performance will be key supporters of the tour that will see stops at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and for the BC39 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“I’ve enjoyed representing Mahindra Tractors and its dealers. I have had the opportunity to drive tractors, meet many of the dealers at the racetrack and found the product and people to be tough and reliable. The first months of this partnership have been a great ride, we have shared values and expectations and had a lot of fun together shooting the commercials,” said Briscoe. “I look forward to getting back to my roots, dirt-track racing makes me a better Cup Series driver. It forces you to adapt, run different lines to get the most out of your car and do it quickly. Mahindra’s support and confidence make the experience better.”
