On Friday morning, Red Bull KTM confirmed that Marvin Musquin will not race in Saturday night’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross round at SnapDragon Stadium in San Diego, Calif.
The team disclosed that Musquin sustained a wrist injury during practice this week and is having his wrist evaluated by medical professionals, according to KTM USA’s Instagram announcement.
Musquin competes full time in the 450cc class and has a Supercross-only contract with the Red Bull KTM team. The Frenchman placed 12th during the opening round in Anaheim, Calif., on Jan 7.
He is coming off a fourth-place finish in last year’s Supercross championship.
