USMA Launches #TogetherWeRace #TogetherWeWin

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The U.S. Motorsports Association’s Motorsports Media Leadership Team has launched #TogetherWeRace #TogetherWeWin, an initiative that encourages the racing industry to return to racing, responsibly.

The initiative is an important part of the COVID-19 Motorsports Task Force, setup and supported by USMA and led by groups of industry stakeholders from across the motorsports spectrum.  The “COVID-19 Toolkit” is the result of the Task Force’s efforts, and has been instrumental in helping to guide grassroots racing back to business safely.

The Media Leadership Team’s responsibility was to not only identify and develop safe protocols for motorsports relating specifically to the production of media, but also to help communicate the importance of getting back to racing safely.

“Motorsports across the United States contributes billions of dollars in economic impact, supplies millions of jobs, feeds thousands of small businesses and provides tremendous benefits to local communities.” said Joe Tripp, Chairman of the Motorsports Media Leadership Team and CEO of SPEED SPORT.  “It’s critical that we get our industry rolling again, and do so in a manner that keeps us under green.”

Racing will be a vital contributor to the restart of the American economy. It’s important racing gets restarted around the country as soon as possible. The campaign is aimed at race tracks, sanctioning bodies, race teams, media, motorsports professionals, and fans as the industry returns to racing amid the various challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

#TogetherWeRace Videos are being created by well-known racers and grassroots racers and fans are encouraged to submit their own videos.  These videos and other messaging will be distributed across digital, television, and social media.  Industry professionals and fans alike are encouraged to use the #TogetherWeRace hashtag and to visit www.TogetherWeRace.com for more information on how they can help.
