MOORESVILLE, N.C. – SPEED SPORT TV affiliates have a busy weekend ahead of them, with live broadcasts set to emanate from across all corners of the United States.
Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind., will host the first of three Sherley Unlimited Snow Company Circle City Winged 410 sprint car events Thursday (tonight). The event is expected to draw a strong contingent of Midwestern sprint car competitors to the new quarter-mile dirt oval in Indianapolis. It’ll be father versus son this Saturday night at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway as 1997 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National champion Dexter Canipe Sr. comes out of retirement for one night only to battle his son, Dexter Canipe Jr. NASCAR Cup Series driver Matt DiBenedetto will also be in the house. Hickory Motor Speedway TV will have complete coverage of all the action.
State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wis., welcomes back the ARCA Midwest Tour this Saturday night for the running of the Larry Detjens Memorial 125. Dick Trickle, Dave Marcis, Bobby Allison and Mark Martin are among the drivers to have won at State Park, but you’ll have to tune into Midwest Tour TV to find out who will add their names to that legendary list.
A top prize of $10,000 is on the line for racers competing at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., this Friday and Saturday night during the Bob’s Burgers & Brew Summer Nationals headlined by the 360 sprint car division. You won’t want to miss a lap of the action, which will be streamed live by Skagit Speedway TV.
