GLORY DAYS: Wolfgang Stars At Tri-State

Driving the No. 49 Rogers Racing Schnee, Doug Wolfgang pounced when leader Stevie Smith slid high on the track with two laps remaining.

Wolfgang powered off the bottom of the track and raced to victory in the May 12, 1991, World of Outlaws event at Indiana’s Tri-State Speedway. He earned $5,210 for the victory.
