Thomas Cashes $10,000 Eldora Check

ROSSBURG, Ohio — Ryan Thomas banked the $10,000 top prize in the modified portion of the Dirt Track World Championship Saturday night at Eldora Speedway.

The event was postponed in October because of weather and run Saturday at the legendary half-mile track with 60 modifieds taking part in the headlining event.

Thomas started on the front row for the 25-lap event and beat polesitter Jonathan Taylor to the checkered flag.

David Stremme started ninth and drove to a third-place finish, with Dillon Nusbaum, Tyler Carpenter and Blake Brown rounding out the top five.

Jeremy Creech won the super stock feature.
