GRANITE CITY, Ill. — Brent Marks earned his first Kubota High Limit Racing sprint car victory Saturday night at Tri-City Speedway.
Marks raced from fifth starting spot and won the 30-lap event, sweeping past early leader Justin Peck to earn a $14,500 payday.
Marks held off point leader Brad Sweet, who romped from 11th on the grid to finish second.
Peck came home third with Rico Abreu and Tyler Courtney completing the top five.
Peck was the fast qualifier for the 27-car field with a 12.679-second lap.
