COCHRAN, Ga. – Brandon Overton made it four wins in four nights with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series after a victory at Cochran Motor Speedway on Sunday.
The triumph was worth $3,500 to the two-time Southern Nationals Series champion.
The incoming series point leader dominated the affair, taking the checkered flag in front of original runner-up Michael Page by 4.411 seconds.
However, Page was docked two positions in the official finishing order due to a part failure which caused his car to fail post-race technical inspection, elevating Chris Madden to second and Ross Bailes to third.
Page was credited with fourth and John Baker filled out the top five.
