CHATSWORTH, Ga. – Donald McIntosh emerged victorious following Friday’s Ultimate Super Late Model Series opener at North Georgia Speedway.
McIntosh started on the front row alongside polesitter Cory Hedgecock. The two battled early in the race for the lead before McIntosh ultimately took possession of the top spot, never giving it up again throughout the 40-lap feature.
The race was slowed by four caution periods and one lengthy red flag on lap 34 when Riley Hickman’s late model got upside down after contact with Tyler Millwood. The incident also collected Pearson Lee Williams.
Zack Mitchell crossed the line in second, followed by Hedgecock, Booger Brooks and Jeff Smith.
