West Coast Stock Car HoF Induction Ceremony Postponed

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame’s 2020 inductions presented by World Wide Technology Raceway, previously set for June 11 in Napa, Calif., has been postponed due to uncertainty over the duration of the current COVID-19 pandemic and when California’s current ban on large gatherings might be lifted.

The ceremony at the Meritage Resort and Spa will be held in 2021 at a date to be determined, according to West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame’s Chairman and CEO Ken Clapp.

Five members of the organization’s 17th inducted class, along with a yet-to-be announced slate of Heritage enshrinees, will officially welcomed into the Hall a year from now. Elected are Mike Bliss, Craig Keogh, Rick Mears, Jim Pettit II and Jerry Pitts. Racing ambassador Linda Vaughn is due to receive the Motorsport Lady of the Century award.
