It’s Repko In Mountain Creek Run

SALISBURY, N.C. — Ryan Repko became the fourth different winner in the past four races at Mountain Creek Speedway on Sunday night.

Repko started outside the front row and led the first 10 laps of the micro sprint main event. A tense moment came on a lap-20 restart when Hayden Wise and Repko made contact on the backstretch crossing up both drivers in front of the field. Everyone gathered it back up with Repko retaining the lead, while Wise lost two spots to Eli Adams and Nigel Standish. Repko survived one more restart to lead the rest of the way to victory. Standish enjoyed his best finish of the year in second. Eli Adams was third, ahead of Wise and Ryan Zima.

The Cadet division had to be separated into two main events on the day. Wyatt Linker made a pass for the lead with two laps remaining to take the win over Anthony Pedulla and Maverick Bradshaw. Another member of the Earnhardt family notched their way into the winner’s column as Brylon Earnhardt, the great grandson of Dale Earnhardt picked up a career first win in the second Cadet main event of the day over Carly McDuffee and Mackenna Wilson.

Slate Harrell won for the second consecutive race in the Beginner Box Stock division. Will Spencer was second, Jackson Darnell, subbing for Brexton Busch was third.

All eyes were on Karter Beattie and Liam Kane in the box stock main event. They swapped the lead several times over the course of the race with Beattie holding off some late race restarts to take down the win over Brayden Mussetter while Kane rounded out the podium.

Defending Yamaha 450 Outlaw champion, Dylan Beard led every lap of the A-main to grab his first win of the 2023 season. Mark Pollardi was second while CJ Sweatt completed the podium in third.

Wyatt Miller was the class of the field in the Intermediate division.
