PELETIER, N.C. – The racing program scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19 at Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway has been canceled for track repairs.
The cancelation comes after a portion of the track came apart during Saturday night’s Solid Rock Carriers 125, causing multiple delays, which came after days of rain. Carteret County Speedway will work to repair the track and make sure the surface is safe to race on.
There is no timeline for the completion of repairs. As of now, the next event at Carteret is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3.
