JACKSON, Minn. — Jackson Motorplex held its second of three Tuesday IMCA shows for the 2023 season with five sanctioned divisions on hand.
The modified main was owned by Jordan Rogotzke from start to finish. Kelly Shryock applied pressure over the last five laps but took second while Clint Hatlestad was third.
The stock car main saw Jake Bruns jump into the lead with several cars in a bunch right behind him.
Luke Sathoff used the bottom of turn two on a restart to take the lead and stretched the margin to post a dominant win. Curt Lund was second ahead of Bruns.
Northern sport mods were dominated by Jared Boumeester with a flag-to-flag win. A yellow with two laps left gave Matthew Looft and Zach Davis an opportunity but Boumeester was able to handle the challenge.
Cory Probst won the hobby stock main, using the upper line out of turn four to lead the last five laps. Blake Luinenburg led five laps and finished second while Chad Volk was third after leading the first two laps.
Oliver Monsoon led all but the first lap to capture the sport compact main. Nate Coopman applied pressure the last few laps but settled for second.
Jackson Motorplex staff ran a very efficient show, completing the show in one hour and 50 minutes.
