BREWERTON, N.Y. — Larry Wight charged from 15th starting spot to win Friday night’s big-block modified feature at Brewerton Speedway.
Wight held off 11th starter Jimmy Phelps to claim the 35-lap event on the quarter-mile dirt track.
Tim Sears Jr. romped from 17th to finish third, with Max McLaughlin and Matt Caprara rounding out the top five.
Nick Root claimed the 25-lap sportsman feature.
Other winners were Kyle Demo (Mod Lites) and Chris Bonoffski (four-cylinder super stocks).
