Wight Keeps Rolling At Canandaigua

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Larry Wight won his second big-block modified feature in as many nights, topping Saturday’s 30-lap main event at Land of Legends Raceway.

Wight, who won Friday at Brewerton Speedway, picked up $2,000 for claiming Saturday’s event at the half-mile LoL dirt track.

Matt Sheppard, who triumphed Friday at Utica-Rome Speedway, came home second. Peter Britten, Erick Rudolph and Justin Haers rounded out the top five.

Tyler Corcoran won the sportsman modified feature and Brandyn Griffin topped the 305 sprint car main event.

Jimmy Grant raced to glory in the street stock division and Wayne Ellison claimed the hobby stock headliner.
