WEEDSPORT, N.Y. — Weedsport Speedway has unveiled the track’s upcoming schedule, which features six weekends of action including the return of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series on July 28.
Weedsport’s season opener will feature the annual Super DIRTcar Series Heroes Remembered 100 on May 26. The stars of the Super DIRTcar Series will circle Weedsport for 100-laps, in search of a $7,500 payday.Â
The big blocks will be joined on May 26 by the DIRTcar Sportsman as well as the CRSA Sprint Car division.
Just over two weeks later on June 11, the Ferris Commercial Mowers 50 runs with the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds as well as the DIRTcar Sportsman.Â
ESS Speedweek returns to Weedsport on July 7. The ESS Sprint Cars will be paired with the lone stop of the season for the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series at The Port.
Weedsport will once again welcome the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds on July 14 for the $10,000-to-win Hall of Fame 100. A three-division card on July 14 will also see the DIRTcar Sportsman and NY6A Micro Sprints in action.
A hectic month of July for Weedsport ends with the highly anticipated Empire State Challenge for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series on July 28. The series only stop in the state of New York will be paired with a 50-lap big block modified special.
The season will conclude with Cavalcade Cup Weekend presented by Stirling Lubricants on Sept. 7-8.
The weekend will kick-off on Sept. 7 with the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified Cavalcade 100, paying $10,000 to the winner. The night will not only prove to be lucrative for the big block modifieds, but also for the DIRTcar Sportsman, as the Sportsman Classic 75 will be part of the evening along with the CRSA Sprint Cars.
The final night of action for the year will be highlighted with another stop by the ESS Sprint Cars on Sept. 8 along with the Empire Street Stock Series and another 50-lap big block modified main event.
