DUNDEE, N.Y. – Erick Rudolph rolled from the fifth starting position to win the big-block modified portion Friday’s Outlaw Speedway Fall Series Finale.
Rudolph went right to work on the opening lap, moving to third on the opening lap. The first caution flag of the night waved six laps in when early leader Ron Cartwright Jr. slowed with a flat tire, which gave the lead to Danny Johnson.
Two more laps were completed before a car stopped at the top of turn four, with Johnson continuing to lead Rudolph. A multi-car melee immediately brought the caution back out during the restart, with Johnson continuing to lead Rudolph.
When racing resumed Rudolph was all over Johnson. He pulled a beautiful crossover slide job on Johnson entering turn one on lap nine to take the lead.
Despite multiple caution periods and several challenges from Tyler Siri, Rudolph would lead the remainder of the 30-lap distance to score the victory.
In other action, Karl Comfort won his third American Racer Tire Sportsman race of the season at Outlaw Speedway. Zach George visited victory lane for the second time in Hoosier Tire Sportsman.
Adam Depuy topped the 20-lap street stock feature, Jared Spalding won the IMCA modified feature, Tyler Burnell was a winner in hobby stock action and Kenneth Evans raced to victory in the four-cylinder mini stock main event.
