THOROLD, Ontario — Jordan Poirier grabbed his fourth consecutive Pinty’s Knights of Thunder 360 Sprints victory Friday night at Merrittville Speedway.
Jim Huppunen got away cleanly but had a mirror full of Jordan Poirier within the first few laps. Poirier passed Huppunen and begin driving away. Huppunen, went back to work trying to reel in Poirier once again, slowly catching the Quebec native, until a spin while running-second ended Huppunen’s chances.
Poirier would hold off Aaron Turkey and Ryan Turner to score win number four on the season.
Nick Sheridan held off Jacob Dykstra to win the Action Sprint Tour feature.
Dave Bailey won in the Hoosier Stocks and Kenny Hair topped the four cylinders.
