Western N.Y. stock car racer Mike Lenartowicz of Kenmore, N.Y., passed away on May 2.
Lenartowicz was a member of Lancaster Speedway’s original Street Stock class in 1973 and raced there through the 1980s.
Lenartowicz was a Vietnam war Air Force veteran and operated Tonawanda Auto Service for 35 years. He also was a longtime member, and past president, of the Clutch Artists car club.
Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret, and son Michael.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on May 7 at St. Paul’s RC Church in Kenmore at 10 a.m.
