ARCADE, N.Y. – Dave Hess’ bold work in lapped traffic landed him in victory lane with the super late model division Friday at Freedom Motorsports Park.
Hess split race leader Dave Scott and a lapped car on lap 13 of 30 to score the opening night win of the two-night Previty Auto Wrecking/VP Racing Fuels Freedom Fall Classic.
Paul Grigsby, Jason Jenco and Dustin Waters finished in the top five. Randy Hall, Chuck LaFleur, Doug Ricotta, Austin Allen and Andy Michael finished out the top 10.
Steve Dixon got by Bill Homes for the victory in the crate late model division.
Dixon also won the pro mod main event, while Tom Kemp won the street stock feature.
D.J. Williams prevailed in the mini stocks feature and Ridge Cobb scored the win in the bandits division.
