Fuller Banks $12,000 Fonda Prize

FONDA, N.Y. — Tim Fuller banked $12,000 for winning Saturday night’s Jack Johnson Memorial that opened the modified season at Fonda Speedway.

Fuller, who will be inducted into the DIRT Hall of Fame later this year, took the lead from David Schilling on the second lap and led the remainder of the 40-lap event.

Matt Sheppard finished second, with Ronnie Johnson, Andy Bachetti and Mike Mahaney rounding out the top five.

It was Fuller’s fourth career victory at Fonda, but his first since 2018.

Payton Talbot topped the crate 602 sportsman main event, leading all 25 laps.

Ivan Joslin won the pro stock feature and Connor Prokop aced the limited sportsman main event.
