FONDA, N.Y. — There’s little stopping Stewart Friesen at Fonda Speedway.
Friesen grabbed the lead from George Foley on lap four and led the remainder of the 30-lap modified feature for his sixth victory of the season at the historic dirt track. It was his 74th career victory at Fonda.
Rocky Warner came home second, with Ronnie Johnson, Mike Mahaney and Craig Hanson following.
Mark Mortensen led the final eight laps to win the crate sportsman main event. It was his first win of the season.
Other winners were Nick Stone (pro stock), Clayton Dumond (limited sportsman), Kerrie Hollenback (four cylinder) and Josh Flint (CRSA sprint car).
