Drellos Goes Topless At Devil’s Bowl

WEST HAVEN, Vt. — No top was no problem for Demetrios Drellos Saturday night at Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

Drellos came from 21st starting position in the annual Father’s Day “Topless” Special to stalk leader Adam Pierson in the final laps.

Drellos threw a scintillating slide-job move on Pierson coming to the white flag to take the lead and then drove off in the final lap for his fourth win of 2021. Pierson finished a season-best second. Vince Quenneville drove from 15th to finish third.

Evan Roberts claimed the limited sportsman feature and Mark Norris topped the street stock event.

Other winners were Chris Sumner (mini stocks) and Ray Hanson (mini sprints).
