FONDA, N.Y. — Versatile dirt-track racer Danny Varin won the Underdog 33 modified feature on the opening night of Fonda 200 weekend at Fonda Speedway.
Verin took the lead from Alex Yankowski on lap 29 and led the final four circuits for his first victory of the season at Fonda. It was the 12th win of his career at the track.
Bobby Varin finished second, with Ryan Odasz, Dave Constantino and Brian Calabrese completing the top five.
Mike Arnold won the 20-lap limited sportsman main event. It was his first win of the season at Fonda.
